Our weekend in Cologne

Introduction

As specialists and enthusiasts of outdoor cooking, we wouldn't miss Spoga, the world's biggest trade fair for professionals.

We spent two days there to discover what's new and what's hot for next season.

We arrived in Cologne at 09:00, just enough time to drop off our suitcases before finally entering the temple of the outdoors for the weekend..

As soon as we entered the hall, Thierry from Napoleon called us over to show us the new products for 2025.

A complete makeover for the Prestige range, a new electric barbecue and accessories.

Leaving the Napoleon stand, our eyes fell on an Italian outdoor kitchen brand: Lisa.

We were impressed by the quality, philosophy and modularity of their range. In fact, these modules can accommodate many of the brands we represent. You'll soon be able to see them in our showroom.

We now have a meeting with Steve from Weber who will be showing us their stand where they are the only ones to cook indoors.

The Genesis and Q ranges have been redesigned and a modular storage system will be introduced.

It's already 1.00 pm, time to head to the Napoleon barn for a bite to eat.

This is where Napoleon's chefs delight our taste buds.

Here we go again for the rest of the afternoon, visiting Witt and Yakiniku.

Witt is bringing out the Piccolo rotante with a 13" stone and a price tag of €549 incl. VAT.

Yakiniku has released the Shichirin Large Rectangular.

After a brief stopover at the hotel, we head off to 6 o'clock Prime BBQ Night. All the big names are there, with one motto: barbecue party. The venue is magnificent, on the banks of the Rhine with a view of Cologne and its cathedral.

The focus is on one meat, the famous Wagyu. All the chefs work the product in different ways: burgers, picanha, ......

After a good night's sleep, we're ready for the next stage.

We've been wanting to add Solo Stove to our range for some time. Now we have finally found the right partner to work with.

We'll be receiving our first items at the end of next week.

We've arrived at Petromax, the outdoor specialist in harmony with nature.

The best- seller Atago now has a gas version that you can discover in our shop.

We continue with Ooni, the first to democratise the affordable, easy-to-use pizza oven.

They presented the Koda Max, an oven that can accommodate 2 pizzas of 12" (35 cm) or 3 pizzas of 10" (30 cm).

We've come towards the end of our visit to Cosi, the outdoor heaters.
Trendy colours are making their appearance.

To conclude

As enthusiasts, the Spoga is a real opportunity for us to meet the major players in outdoor cooking and discover the constant innovations in this sector.

It's been a rewarding year for us, and we're continuing to develop our range.

Don't hesitate to visit us in our Windhof showroom.
