Monolith Grill

Man has known the retention properties of ceramics for 3000 years. Since the middle of the 20th century, mobile ceramic cooking systems which were used by Japanese workers have been developed to create the concept of the ceramic grill, which has spread worldwide.
In 2007, Matthias Otto founded Monolith Grill with the aim of creating the perfect kamado grill. Since then, at the headquarters in Osnabrück, highly qualified engineers as well as the most creative experts from the grill world are constantly developing new ideas to explore all the possibilities that a monolith offers.
Monolith barbecues are produced in China, the country of origin of ceramics.
All this makes Monolith much more than a ceramic grill.
It is a universal outdoor kitchen with an ever-growing range of accessories.

The Monolith ceramic grill offers you different types of cooking:
- The advantage of ceramic grills is the retention of heat. So you don't need a lot of charcoal to grill, even if it takes up to 10 hours.
- The temperature range, between 70°C and 400°C, with easy adjustment of the air supply and the precise sealing system of the ceramic prevents temperature fluctuations.
- Smoking - Adjust your Monolith to a temperature between 90°C and 120°C to grill pulled pork, brisket or smoked salmon.
- Indirect grilling - The heat diffusers included in most monoliths allow you to grill at around 200°C without the food coming into contact with the coals. Perfect for grilling chicken or a bread whose tenderness will surprise you.
- Direct grilling, ideal for grilling pieces of meat or preparing pizzas that require a high temperature.

The range of Monolith

Monolith offers 5 grill variants in 4 sizes, available in black or red (except for the Icon model which is only available in black).


- Monolith Icon, the smallest monolith.
With a grill grate diameter of 33 cm, it fits perfectly on your table. It has all the qualities of a ceramic grill. In short, he has everything from the big ones.

- Monolith Junior
With a grill grate diameter of 33 cm, it is available with or without a trolley. It differs from the Icon by a deeper bowl and a hatch for throwing in wood chips without opening the lid, which allows the temperature to remain constant.

- Monolith Basic
With a grill grate diameter of 44 cm, the Basic Grill is a simpler version of the Classic Pro model. The basics and benefits that made Monolith famous are of course included. Only certain features such as the front wood chip hatch and the stainless steel straps have been removed to offer a top-of-the-range product, equipped with the essentials, at an affordable price.

- Monolith Classic Pro 2.0
The best selling monolith grill. The grill surface can be enlarged with an additional grill grate, creating a second grill surface, which is ideal for grilling more dishes and side dishes at the same time. Thanks to the filling system for the chips, these can be placed directly on the grill without opening the lid of the grill and interrupting the grilling process. It is available with or without a trolley with two folding side trays.

- Monolith LeChef. The flagship product of Monolith.
It is the largest grill in the range with a weight of 140 kg and a grill grate diameter of 52 cm. It is particularly suitable for the preparation of large pieces of meat as well as the simultaneous grilling of different foods, be it low and slow, grilling, baking, smoking or cooking. With the Monolith LeChef it is possible to have up to 3 grill levels by overlapping the special accessory grid. This function makes it ideal for private and professional use for large barbecues, catering and banquets, large gastronomic events, fairs and grill competitions.

- Set BBQ Guru UltraQ

The Monolith Classic Pro 2.0 and Monolith LeChef Barbecue are available in the Guru Edition (device to connect the BBQ Guru DynaQ and BBQ Guru UltraQ temperature controllers). The integrated electronically controlled fan allows you to easily adjust the temperature.

- Cover: Essential to protect your grill from bad weather. Each model has its own unique cover.

- Plancha: It is possible to place a steel plate on each monolith, which turns your grill into a real plancha.

 
-Grill Accessories: Monolith offers a wide variety of grill accessories specifically designed for use with Monolith barbecues. You can choose from tongs, spatulas, brushes, a wok for example.

- Rotisserie Kit: Great way to grill a whole chicken to perfection. Monolith offers rotisserie kits specifically for each grill model.
